Privacy,
made clear.
This page explains the website data controls already built into SameSideSystems. Analytics and privacy-masked heatmaps stay off until a visitor actively accepts them.
Who is responsible
SameSideSystems operates this website. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@samesidesystems.com. Registered company and postal details must be added here before launch.
Data we may process
- Essential technical requests needed to deliver the page and protect the service.
- When accepted: page views, section and project interactions, scroll depth, engagement time, coarse performance metrics, and privacy-masked session insights.
- Information a visitor chooses to send by email. The website does not currently collect form submissions.
Query strings, typed text, email addresses, modeled portfolio outcomes, and fake client metrics are not sent as analytics event values by the website code.
Tools and purposes
Google Analytics 4 can be enabled to understand aggregate site usage and performance. Microsoft Clarity can be enabled for heatmaps and privacy-masked session diagnostics. Both integrations are dormant until valid project IDs are configured and analytics consent is granted. Advertising storage, ad-user-data, and ad-personalization signals remain denied in this implementation.
Legal basis, sharing, and transfers
Optional measurement is based on consent. Necessary delivery and security processing may rely on legitimate interests or contract, depending on the final operating entity and jurisdiction. When enabled, Google and Microsoft act as analytics providers and may process data in other countries under their published contractual safeguards. Final launch copy must match the signed provider agreements and actual hosting setup.
Retention and control
Retention periods must be selected in the provider dashboards and inserted here before launch. Visitors can reject measurement, change their preference, or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future measurement and asks configured tools to clear their first-party identifiers.
Your rights
Depending on location, visitors may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Contact the address above to make a request. Identity may need to be verified before responding.
Launch note
This is implementation-ready operational copy, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Replace every launch TODO and have the final policy reviewed against the real company, hosting, processors, retention settings, and marketing stack.
