The default is simple: optional analytics, heatmaps, and session insights are denied. They can run only after an affirmative choice and only after valid measurement IDs are added.
Current categories
| Category | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | On | Page delivery, security, and storing the visitor's privacy preference in local storage. |
| Analytics | Off | Aggregate usage, web performance, consented heatmaps, and privacy-masked session diagnostics. |
| Marketing | Off | No advertising or personalized marketing tags are loaded by the current implementation. |
Possible identifiers after consent
| Provider | Typical identifiers | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie | Loads only after analytics consent. Advertising signals stay disabled. |
| Microsoft Clarity | _clck and _clsk | Loads only after analytics consent. Clarity consent v2 receives analytics granted and ad storage denied. |
| SameSideSystems | sss_consent_v1 in local storage | Records only the consent version, analytics choice, marketing denied, and update time. |
Exact expiration and retention settings must be verified in the production provider dashboards before launch because provider behavior can change.
Change your choice
Open the preferences panel to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting or withdrawing prevents future measurement and clears recognized first-party GA4 and Clarity identifiers from this domain where the browser permits it.
Heatmaps without invasive capture
The website does not implement custom keystroke recording, mouse-coordinate collection, or form-content capture. Heatmaps and session diagnostics, when accepted, are provided through Clarity. Configure its masking mode to Strict in the Clarity dashboard before production.
